West Ham could be looking for a new manager after a disastrous start to the season.

The Hammers have lost both league games and they have conceded eight goals in the process.

Manager Graham Potter's future as boss could be coming to an end if results don't improve.

Reports suggest Potter has two games to turn things around at the London Stadium.

First up is a trip to Wolves in the Carabao Cup before West Ham travel to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Betting sites will continue to monitor the situation and refresh their odds accordingly.

Time Could Be Right For Southgate

Could the time be right for Sir Gareth Southgate to return to management?

Southgate has been recharging his batteries ever since the curtain came down on his eight-year spell in charge of England.

Defeat to Spain in the final of Euro 2024 was not the way he would have liked to end his tenure, but it shows he has what it takes to be a successful manager.

Southgate is the 6/5 favourite with football betting sites to replace Potter.

Postecoglou Poised For Next Role

It wasn’t long ago that Brady hinted she wanted Ange Postecoglou to succeed David Moyes at the London Stadium.

In her column, she predicted Postecoglou would take the Premier League by storm, though he ultimately joined Tottenham while Moyes remained for another year.

The Australian is currently enjoying some time off after being dismissed by Spurs despite leading them to Europa League glory last season after beating Manchester United in the final.

But if he is still seeking a new role during the October or November international breaks, he could well receive a call.

This is often when struggling clubs move to dismiss underperforming managers, and Postecoglou is currently 2/1 to replace Potter at West Ham.

Cooper A Safe Pair Of Hands

Renowned for his tactical organisation and ability to nurture young talent, Steve Cooper won plaudits at Nottingham Forest by guiding them to Premier League promotion against the odds in 2022.

His spell at Leicester proved less successful, however, and he departed the King Power Stadium in November 2024 after just five months in charge.

Cooper’s composed leadership and track record of working effectively with limited resources fit well with West Ham’s pursuit of stability and long-term growth.

Priced at 3/1, bookmakers regard him as a strong candidate, particularly if the club opts for a pragmatic figure to oversee the next stage of their development.

O’Neil Has Earned His Chance

Gary O’Neil has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising young managers and now finds himself in contention to take over at West Ham.

His tactical intelligence and composed leadership shone through during his stints at Bournemouth and Wolves, where he was praised for making the most of limited resources and delivering key results.

With valuable top-flight experience already behind him, former West ham player O’Neil looks a natural candidate for the London Stadium role and is currently priced at 4/1 to become the next Irons boss.

Rose A Respected European Coach

Marco Rose is a well-regarded German coach whose progressive, high-intensity approach has impressed at Borussia Monchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and, most recently, RB Leipzig.

His knack for combining structured systems with attacking flair could make him an attractive option for West Ham’s hierarchy as they consider the club’s next step forward.

Recently linked with the Rangers vacancy after Philippe Clement’s departure, Rose is now priced at 5/1 to take charge at the London Stadium should the Hammers decide to make a change.

Terzic Boasts Proven Quality

Edin Terzic led Borussia Dortmund to a DFB-Pokal victory and a Champions League final during his time at the club, underlining his pedigree on the European stage.

He is highly regarded for his tactical flexibility, strong man-management skills, and capacity to succeed at the highest level.

For West Ham, Terzic’s proven quality makes him an attractive candidate to guide the club’s next chapter, and he is currently priced at 5/1 in the next West Ham manager odds.

Dyche Can Deal With Difficult Situations

Sean Dyche (6/1) brings a wealth of experience and resilience from his spells with Burnley and Everton and would be well placed to steady the ship if West Ham continue to struggle.

Kasper Hjulmand (8/1) brings international pedigree, having guided Denmark deep into major tournaments, while Ralph Hasenhüttl (10/1) is seeking a fresh challenge after leaving Wolfsburg last season.

Michael Carrick (12/1), a former Hammer, enhanced his reputation while at Middlesbrough, and a return to manage his old club would certainly represent a major step forward in his coaching career.
